1997 E-One International- Engine 6 is used primarily for MVA’s and fires. It’s first due to all fires whether it’s structural, vehicular, or outdoor fires out of Station 2. Engine 6 is first due in the hydrant district to all structure fires, and second due to all fires out of the hydrant district. Engine 6 is the primary RIT Engine Verona uses as RIT in three different townships. Engine 6 has a 1250 gpm Hale Pump, a 1000 gallon tank, and 4 SCBA seats. Engine 6 carries a variety of hand tools, 2 sets of high-rise packs, and a deck gun. The engine also carries a Husqvarna chain saw. Engine 6 has two cross lays of 1 Ύ”- one of 200’ and another at 250’. It has a 100’ of pre-connected 1 Ύ” hose in the front bumper, pre-connected 200’ of 2 ½” in the back and carries 1000’ of 5” Supply Line. It has a 28’ Extension Ladder, a 16’ Roof Ladder, and a 14’ Folding Ladder. It carries 2 10’ Lengths of 6” suction. Engine 6 also carries a complete set of Mini Rescue Holmatro tools including Cutter, Spreader, and Rams. Engine 6 also carries EMS equipment, a stokes basket, and all of the RIT Teams tools including a Robin portable generator.
